April Bowlby is an American actress and model. She's played Kandi on her role on the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actor, best recognized for her role as Stacy Barrett in the American fictional drama series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in the comedy series Two and a Half Men. The modeling industry was her first profession after which she went on to film and TV programs. She made her first appearance on the small screen as an extra on the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The show was followed by performances in single episodes of other TV shows. She soon landed the part of Kandi in the TV show Two and a Half Men. Bowlby's performance as Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her recognition around the world. Bowlby played the role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl on the American web-based series Titans. In a spin-off version in the form of Doom Patrol, she will take on the role. Bowlby is also a part of TV films, including Sands of Oblivion and The Wrong Daughter. The actress made her debut on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home, then appeared on the screen in The Slammin Salmon as well as From Prada to Nada. Bowlby has attended East Union High School in Manteca in California. Bowlby moved to Manteca as a young child. She took ballet classes as well as French in Moorpark College before deciding to explore a career in acting. She studied drama with Ivana Chubbuck and secured the role of a leading television show (Kandi in Two and a Half Men) in the months following her debut Hollywood audition. Bowlby was a part of a variety of TV series, such as CSI in 2004 as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004's CSI: NY as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005 Stacked with Jasmine in 2005, and How I Met Your Mother in the role of Meg in 2007. Bowlby has played Natasha Recently, she was in All Roads Lead Home, the 2007 film about the 12 year old girl with a mother gone in a tragic car crash. Bowlby will play Mia the main character in The Slammin Salmon (2008). She lives in Los Angeles. She is a redhead with blue eyes. She was never married, and has she has no children.
