Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for the past 40 years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her stage career began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. She then acted in numerous Broadway performances before she was the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina the following year. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre which was a 1958 film. The film was met with wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship and friendship with Lee Strasberg. The next notable role she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on to play in the year 1964. Louise Balfour managed to play between Broadway and Hollywood acting as a sombre character against her famous image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years she's also been a popular director for well-known TV series like Supernatural and The 100. She was born on 28 August 1965 in Essex. At the age of 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent in the city for her entire childhood. After being chosen for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and is a resident of Vancouver ever since.
