Zoe-perry
Perry was born to Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). In the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as seen by flashback) Her mother portrayed Jackie Harris in two of Perry's early TV appearances. Perry was forbidden to start acting by her parents until she reached an adulthood stage, because they were concerned about the anxiety it could cause. Perry claimed that she was too timid to perform in high school but began doing shows in theater classes at Northwestern University as a way to connect with people following her transfer from Boston University. Perry following her graduation from Boston University, relocated into New York in search of TV roles. Her small part was on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness led her to California for theater roles. She appeared on Broadway with her mother in The Other Place with her mother in the year 2013. In 2015, she was a part of her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning film Anna Christie on the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry was featured nine times on The Family, an ABC thriller The Family, in 2016. Her father played her on her role on the ABC Drama Scandal. That same year she appeared as a younger model of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory) in which she played her mother in a younger version. The role was selected by auditions, even the fact that she had a deep connection with it.
