Born and was raised within Brisbane Australia. The daughter of a British father. Clemens' career as an actor began in her high school years. In 2006, she appeared in a role as Juliet in an episode of Blue Water High and in 2007, as Alison as Alison in Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji. Clemens, who played Harper the following year on Showtime's Love My Way drama was nominated by the Logie Awards as the Graham Kennedy Award winner for Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens appeared in the film Dream Life in 2008. Clemens was a model for Jan Logan's jewellery that same year. Clemens relocated to Los Angeles California after her 2009. Clemens starred in the 2010 movie Wasted on the Young as Xandrie. Clemens appeared as Camilla Dickinson in 2012 alongside Gregg Sulkin Cary Elwes Samantha Mathis. It was a film adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle's 1951 novel with the same title. Clemens portrayed Heather Mason as a teenager as she appeared as well as Samantha Mathis in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The film's horror plot was inspired by the survival horror video game Silent Hill 3 and was a sequel to the film Silent Hill.That year, Clemens also played the lead character as the suffragette's young Valentine Wannop in Parade's End a television mini-series adaptation to the Ford Madox Ford tetra-logy co-produced by HBO and BBC Two. Clemens played the role in 2012's horror film No One Lives starring Luke Evans. She appeared as well as a character in The Great Gatsby (2013) the film that was inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald's book that has the same title. Catherine was the younger cousin of Myrtle Wilson, played by Isla Fischer. Clemens is a part of Rectify 2013 a tv miniseries directed by Ray McKinnon. She plays Tawney Telbot. Natalie Dormer, Stephen Graham and Zachary Quinto will join her in The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
