Sharni Vinson is an American-born Australian actor, dancer and actress born on 22 July 1983, in Sydney Australia. In 2001, she was cast in two episodes in Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. The show was able to select her for the lead role in the soap opera in Australia Home and Away due to her performance in this limited role was so compelling that the casting agents requested her for the various roles. However, she did submit an attempt to audition however she was not chosen instead in the same show she played the role of Cassie turner who was the troubled teenage girl who was placed in foster care.
